A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FOR STREET DEDICATION
AT 2803 LOS FLORES AVENUE, CASE NO. 88077
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that the easement is necessary for the convenience,
' welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest
of the City shall be served by the acceptance of said easement; and
WHEREAS, street dedication for 2803 Los Flores Avenue
has been analyzed and approved by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, the developer has complied with all of the
Engineering Division improvement requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The City Council accepts the dedication
of easement for street purposes to the City of Lynwood as offered
for dedication, as designated.
Those portions of Lots 85 and 86 in Tract No. 92, as per map
recorded in book 14, pages 38 and 39 of maps, in the office of
the County Recorder of said County, and that portion of the
southerly half of 'Hester Avenue vacated, adjoining said lots on
the north, described as a whole as follows:
' Beginning at the intersection of the northerly line of the
southerly 40 feet of said lots with the easterly line of the
westerly 5.5 feet of said Lot 85; thence N 85 degrees 05 minutes
00 seconds W parallel with said southerly line 54.59 feet to a
point on the easterly line of Santa Fe Avenue, 100.00 feet wide,
said point being on a curve concave easterly having a radius of
1050.00 feet, a radial line to said point bears N 86 degrees 27
minutes 19 seconds W, thence northerly along said curve through a
central angle of 0 degrees 16 minutes 22 seconds an arc length of
5.00 feet; thence S 85 degrees 05 minutes 00 seconds E parallel
with said southerly line of said Lots 85 and 86, 54.72 feet thence
S 4 degrees 55 minutes 00 seconds W 5.00 to the point of
beginning.
Section 2 . That the above described easement has
been offered for dedication to the City by William Lewis and Jo
A. Lewis (owners).
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21st day of
November 1989.
