A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL PROPOSITION A
FUND FOR CITY'S SHARE OF THE COST FOR RAPID
TRANSIT DISTRICT SECURITY

WHEREAS, since 1986, the City Council has approved
Rapid Transit District Security Agreements No. 61980, 61981 and
61982, with the County of Los Angeles, for its share of the cost
of crime reduction force; and
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles failed to invoice
the City yearly; and
WHEREAS, the City received an invoice covering all
previous year agreements for an amount of $42,771; and
WHEREAS, the City's FY 1989 -90 budget shows only
$15,105 for Agreement No. 61982. An additional $27,666 is needed
to pay the invoice.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee is
authorized to make the following appropriation:

Section 3. This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
