A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY'S
CITIZEN PARTICIPATION PLAN AND REHABILITATION
PROGRAM REGULATIONS IN ORDER TO REDEFINE THE
TITLE AND ROLE OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY BOARD ( HCDAB)
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City of Lynwood to provide
for full involvement of the community in the planning, development,
implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs funded under
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to expend the level of
community involvement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has directed that the name and
functions of the Housing and Community Development Advisory Board
be redefined and amended as follows:
A. New Title
Community Development Block Grant Advisory Board
( CDBGAB)
WHEREAS, the City's Citizen Participation Plan and
Rehabilitation Program Regulations have been revised to reflect
said amendments.
NOW, THEREFFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, order, determine and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The attached City Participation Plan reflecting
amendment to name and function of HCDAB is hereby approved.
Section 2. The attached pages of the City's Rehabilitation
Program Regulations reflecting amendments to said regulations is
hereby approved.

Section 3. This resolution will be effective January 3,

B. Role
(1)
Provide advice to the City Council on all
matters related tothe City's participation
in the Federal Government's Community
Development Block Grant Program;
(2)
Act as Loan Review Committee for the City's
Rehabilitation Program;
(3)
Members of the CDBGAB will have the status
of and will be called Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, the City's Citizen Participation Plan and
Rehabilitation Program Regulations have been revised to reflect
said amendments.
NOW, THEREFFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, order, determine and resolve as follows:
