A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD ELIMINATING THE POSITION OF PERSONNEL
OFFICER FROM THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT BUDGET
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989/1990

WHEREAS, the position of Personnel Officer is currently
in the budget of the Human Resources Department; and
WHEREAS, the position of Human Resources Director has
assumed the responsibilities of the Position of Personnel
Officer; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 25, Article II, Section 24 -67 of the
Code of the City of Lynwood provides for the elimination of a
position in the classified service by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Lynwood to eliminate the position of Personnel Officer from the
fiscal year 1989/1990 budget oflthe Human Resources Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does find, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . Amend the Human Resources Department
Budget for fiscal year 1989/1990 to eliminate the position of
Personnel Officer effective December 29, 1989.
Section 2 . This resolution shall become effective
upon adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED
December . 1989.
