A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING AN
ADDITIONAL ASSOCIATE CIVIL ENGINEER
POSITION FOR ENGINEERING DIVISION

WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous to implement its
comprehensive capital improvement program; and
WHEREAS, the existing in -house staffs are overwhelmed
by the increasing work load due to freeway construction,
Justice Center, developments permits and complaints; and'
WHEREAS, an additional Associate Civil Engineer
position is needed in the Engineering Divisions; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied the implication
of the budget for this additional position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The City Council authorizes an additional
Associate Civil Engineer position be included in the Engineering
Division.
Section 2 . The City Manager or his designee is
authorized to make necessary appropriation and budget amendment:

fund balance
Section 3 . This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of
February , 1990.
