AMENDED ORDINANCE NO. 18-2005
AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE
INDIANA ARTS COMMISSION
WHEREAS, The Indiana Arts Commission has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department desires to submit a grant application to obtain funds that will be used for operating costs associated with the Richmond Parks
and Recreation Department’s Concert Series; and
WHEREAS, a fifty percent (50%) local cash match is required
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
1. The City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Indiana Arts Commission.
2. The City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00).
3. Said funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department, shall be appropriated to fund operating costs associated with the Richmond Parks and Recreation Department’s
Concert Series.
Passed and adopted this 21st day of March______ 2005, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
