A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO GENERAL PUMP
COMPANY, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $27,668.00 FOR THE
WELL NO. 8 REHABILITATION PROJECT (5 -5128)
APPROVED AS TO FORM:

WHEREAS, the Well No. 8 Rehabilitation Project is a
scheduled Capital Improvement Project for fiscal year 1990 -91,
and is funded under the Water Fund for $120,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on April 10, 1991,
and General Pump Company, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder
at $27,668.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that the
Contractor has the necessary experience, and expertise; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to provide the necessary
pumping capacity to efficiently, and effectively operate the
City's water system; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the Contract for the Well No. 8
Rehabilitation Project (5 -5128) be awarded to General Pump
Company, Inc.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute the agreement.
Section 3. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16t hay of April
1991.
