A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING STAFF TO
PURSUE COMPLETION OF TENNIS COURT RESURFACING
PROJECT THROUGH THE INFORMAL BID PROCESS
WHEREAS, Council wants to maintain safe, attractive and usable
public facilities; and
WHEREAS, Funds for resurfacing of six (6) tennis courts in
Dymally Park are available through State Bond appropriation; and
WHEREAS, The project can be completed more economically and
efficiently using the informal bid process; and
WHEREAS, Section 6.3.13 of the Lynwood City Code allows
Council by 4/5 vote to authorize alternate bid procedures;
NOW THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order, and resolve as follows:
Section 1 That City Council of the City of Lynwood authorize
staff to complete tennis court resurfacing project in Dymally Park
through the informal bid process.
Section 2 This resolution shall go into effect immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of May 1991.
