A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO OBTAIN INFORMAL BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF
AUTO CITE EQUIPMENT AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO COVER COST OF
EQUIPMENT
' WHEREAS, the City has begun its in -house program for
parking citations and expects to have its Code Enforcement
program for revenue collections on -line by July 1, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the auto cite equipment will be used in the
issuance of citations by Code Enforcement Officers and Sheriff
Traffic Officers; and
WHEREAS, equipment needs to be purchased in order to
automate current system; and
WHEREAS, the purchase can be completed more expedi-
tiously and efficiently if done through informal bidding; and
WHEREAS, appropriation is needed to cover equipment
purchase.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of
the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby finds and
determines that the purchase of auto cite equipment can be com-
pleted more expeditiously and efficiently through informal bids.
' Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is
authorized to make the following appropriations:

TO:
$30,800
Sheriff Drug Seizure Fund 11- 4552 -4313
Unappropriated Fund Balance
Section 3. That this resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of May 1991.
