RESOLUTION NO. 91 -69
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO OBTAIN INFORMAL BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE
AND INSTALLATION OF A VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM TO MONITOR THE
PARKING LOTS OF THE LYNWOOD CIVIC CENTER AND APPROPRIATE DRUGS
SEIZURE FUNDS TO COVER COST OF SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City desires to obtain a video surveillance
system for the Lynwood City Civic Center Complex:
WHEREAS, on March 2, 1991, the City Council authorized
the expenditure of narcotic seizure forfeiture funds for the
purchase and installation of said system at the regularly scheduled
Council Meeting.
WHEREAS, sufficient funds in the. narcotic seizure
forfeiture account are available for the purchase of such a system.
WHEREAS, the purchase of such a system is a proper and
acceptable form of expenditure for the narcotic seizure funds.
WHEREAS, P.I.C. Systems submitted the lowest bid of three
bids for the desired system.
WHEREAS, under Section 6- 3.13(c) of the Lynwood Municipal
Codes Council may authorize purchase through informal bids by 4/5
vote.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby finds and determines that
the purchase of auto cite equipment can be completed more
expeditiously and efficiently through informal bids.
' SECTION 2. That the City Manager of his designee is authorized
to make the following appropriations:

SECTION 3. That this resolution shall go into effect immediately
upon its adoption.
