A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING THE AUTHORIZED POSITION LIST IN THE CITY MANAGER'S
OFFICE TO UPGRADE THE ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST III AND
ENGINEERING ASSOCIATE /PROJECT MANAGER POSITIONS TO
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, there are currently two Administrative Analyst III
Positions and one Engineering Associate /Project Manager currently
allocated in the City Manager's budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has identified the need to
reorganize the department's staffing needs; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager requests the upgrading of
Administrative Analyst III and Engineering Associate /Project
Manager to Administrative Assistant to the City Manager; and
WHEREAS, certain necessary and vital daily functions will be
carried out on behalf of the City Manager as a result in making
these changes; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to make these
changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
find and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Amend the authorized position list in the City
Manager's Department budget for FY 90/91 to reflect:

SECTION 2. Reallocate incumbent Eng. Assoc. /Project Manager
and Administrative Analyst III to Administrative Assistant to the
City Manager.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
