A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO COVER COSTS
ASSOCIATED WITH COMPETING FOR THE 1991 ALL AMERICA CITY AWARD
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has been selected as one of the
thirty finalists to compete for the all America City Award; and
WHEREAS, the City has an excellent chance to be selected as
one of the best cities in the U.S.; and
WHEREAS, no funds have been previously budgeted for the
competion;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Lynwood California as follows;
SECTION 1.
Council hereby authorizes the tranfer of $20,000 from General
Fund Reserves to Acct. # 1- 4111 -4250.
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk Shall certify to the passage and adoption of this
Resolution, and it shall thereupon be in full force and effect.
