A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE FERNWOOD
AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION FROM ATLANTIC AVENUE
TO CALIFORNIA AVENUE
WHEREAS, Caltrans agreed to reconstruct and overlay
Fernwood Avenue from Atlantic Avenue to California Avenue for
damage done to the street by heavy trucks and construction
equipment traffic during the I -105 Freeway construction; and
WHEREAS, the construction was started in February of
1991, and was completed on June 11, 1991; and
Section 1 . That the City Council accepts the
Fernwood Reconstruction Project as being complete in accordance
with contract documents. 1.
WHEREAS, staff inspected the project and found it to be
complete in accordance with plans and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 2 . That the City will take over maintenance of
the street from Caltrans.
Section 3 . This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18T day of
JUNE , 1991.
