WHEREAS, The employee's Memorandum of Understanding
(MOU) provides for City supplied uniform services to the
Maintenance Divisions employees; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on May 22, 1991, and
California Finest Uniform was the apparent low bidder; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that the
contractor has a good reputation and the necessary experience in
the uniform service business; and
WHEREAS, it is more advantageous and cost effective for
the City to enter into a three year contract to provide uniform
services.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows;
Section 1 . That a three year contract for uniform
services be awarded to California Finest Uniform.
Section 2 . This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18TH day of
JUNE , 1991.
