RESOLUTION NO. 91 -95

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE CHECK
AVENUE WATER LINE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
NO. 5 -5101, FY 1990 -91
WHEREAS, Caltrans agreed to pay for the cost of this
project as part of the I -105 Freeway Construction; and
WHEREAS, the project was awarded to Val Verde
Construction Inc., the lowest responsible bidder on April 16,
1991; and
WHEREAS, the project construction started on May 20,
1991, and was completed on June 10, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the total cost for the project is $31,492.04
and
WHEREAS, staff inspected the project and found it to be
complete in accordance with plans and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the City Council accepts the
Check Avenue Water Line Construction Project as being complete in
accordance with contract documents.
Section 2 . This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of
July , 1991.
