A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD RATIFYING
THE AMENDMENT TO THE STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES
OF-GREATER WATTS EMPLOYMENT AND ECONOMIC
INCENTIVE AREA (GWEEIA) REGARDING A REDUCTION
IN PER EMPLOYEE FEE
WHEREAS, on August 26, 1986, the Community Advisory Council
' for the Greater Watts Employment and Economic Incentive Area
( "GWEEIA" herein) approved Standards and Procedures of Qualified
Community Service Programs for Per Employee Fee; and

WHEREAS, on September 23, 1986, the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Los Angeles, acting as Agent for the County of
Los Angeles and the cities of Huntington Park, South Gate, and
Lynwood under the GWEEIA, approved Standards and Procedures for
Approval of Qualified Community Service Programs and reduction
in the Per Employee Fee for the Community Service Contribution;
and
WHEREAS, on October 15, 1986, the Greater Watts Area
received final designation from the State of California as an
Employment and Economic Incentive Area; and
WHEREAS, on July 10, 1990, the Community Advisory Council
for the GWEEIA approved a reduction of the Per Employee Fee for
the Community Service Contribution from One Hundred Fifty Dollars
($150) to Forty -five Dollars ($45.00), the minimum allowed by the
State of California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to concur with this action
by approving the reduction of the Per Employee Fee for the
Community Service Contribution;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
FIND, DETERMINE, RESOLVE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council concurs with the action of the
Community Advisory Council for the GWEEIA and approves the
reduction of the Per Employee Fee for the Community Service
Contribution from One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150) to Forty -five
Dollars ($45.00).
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this resolution.
