A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE FOUR
YEAR TREE MAINTENANCE PROJECT, AREA 2
(FY 1990 -91)

WHEREAS, staff advertised for bids for the Four Year
Tree Maintenance Project (FY 1987 -88 to FY 1990 -91); and
WHEREAS, a bid opening was held on May 6, 1988, and
California Western Arborist, Inc., was the lowest responsible
bidder; and
WHEREAS, on May 17, 1988, the contract was awarded to
California Western Arborist, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the work in Area 2 (FY 1990 -91) started in July
1990, and was completed in June 1991; and
WHEREAS, staff inspected and found that the work in area
2 was completed in accordance with the project specifications
and contract documents; and
WHEREAS, the cost for the work in Area 2 is
$91,890.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council accept the tree
trimming in Area 2 of the Four Year Tree Maintenance Project as
being completed in accordance with contract documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED THIS _3rd___ day of
September , 1991.
