A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AS HOST FOR THE CALIFORNIA CONTRACT CITIES
ASSOCIATION OCTOBER 16, 1991 MEETING
WHEREAS, the California Contract Cities Association holds
monthly meetings, which are hosted by the member cities on a
rotating basis; and
WHEREAS, the city received a request from the California
Contract Cities Association to be host for one of their upcoming
meetings; and
WHEREAS, the host city underwrites the cost of meals of City
Councilmembers, City Managers /Administrators, City Clerks, City
Attorneys, Sheriff's Captains and Fire Chiefs; and
WHEREAS, prior to the meeting, the California Contract
Cities Association will provide the City of Lynwood with a list
of individuals who it will be serving as host to; and
WHEREAS, the California Contract Cities Association has a
specific need to have a host for the October 16, 1991 meeting;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood as a member in good standing of
the California Contract Cities Association desires to serve as
host of the upcoming meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows:
' Section 1. That, the City of Lynwood will host the
California Contract Cities Association October 16, 1991 meeting.
Section 2. That staff take all necessary steps to insure
the successful hosting of this event.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day
of September , 1991.
