A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND THE
GENERAL SALARY SCHEDULE
' WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
adopted an Employee Classification and Position Plan and amended
same as needed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
adopted a salary resolution with salary schedules including the
General salary schedule; and
WHEREAS, the City has identified a need for some language
changes as well as a salary adjustment in an existing position
statement; and
WHEREAS, the required job analysis has been completed and
the classification statement revised on that basis; and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Board has reviewed the revisions
made to the current position statement; and
WHEREAS, a salary survey was conducted by Cooperative
Personnel Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . Amend the Employee Classification and
Position Plan by removing the current position statement for Fire
Prevention Specialist and replacing it with the revised position
statement as attached.
Section 2 . Amend the General Employees' salary schedule
by reallocating incumbent Jerome Samuel from level 33G to level 37G
per the attached recommendation from Cooperative Personnel
Services.
Section 3 . This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 3rd day of March 1992.
