A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FOR SIDEWALK PURPOSES
ON A PORTION OF LOT 7 OF LICENSED SURVEYOR'S MAP,
IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 16,
PAGE 37, INCLUSIVE OF MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE
COUNTY RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that the easement is necessary for the convenience,
welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest
of the City shall be served by accepting the said easement; and
WHEREAS, the easement deed on a portion of Lot 7 of The
Licensed Surveyor's Map, also commonly known as 11179 Bullis
Road, has been analyzed and approved by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The City Council accepts the dedication of
an easement for sidewalk purposes to the City of Lynwood as follows:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION
That portion of lot 7 of the Licensed Surveyor's Map, in the City of
Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 16, page 37, inclusive of maps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said county.
Said portion being described as follows:
' Commencing at the SE corner of Lot 7, said point being on the Westerly
right of way of Bullis Road (a 65' wide street); thence, Northeasterly
along said Westerly right of way a bearing of N 19 01' 45" E, 17.5',
to the Point of Beginning: Thence, Northeasterly along said Westerly
right of way a distance of 10.0'; thence, S 87 13' 41" W, 5.38';
thence, S 19 01' 45" W, parallel with the said Westerly right of way,
6.0 thence, S 49 10' 10" E, 5.38' to the point of beginning.
Assessor's Map No.: 6173 - 020 -004
Commonly known as: 11179 Bullis Road
Section 2 . This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
