A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE REIMBURSEMENT IN
THE AMOUNT OF $31,550 FROM THE CITY'S GENERAL
FUND ACCOUNT INTO THE CITY'S HUD ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, the Housing and Urban Development Department (HUD)
has determined a former employee of the City of Lynwood has
caused unauthorized transfers and irregular disbursements in
escrow accounts of the rehabilitation program; and
WHEREAS, HUD has determined that inadequate control over
rehabilitation escrow account has resulted in a misappropriation
of $31,550 of CDBG funds; and
WHEREAS, HUD recommends that the City of Lynwood reimburse
its HUD account in the amount of $31,550; and
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized
to make the following transfer:
