A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE REINSTATEMENT FROM
DISABILITY RETIREMENT OF RONALD R. WRIGHT
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood (hereinafter referred to as
Agency) is a contracting agency of the Public Employees' Retirement
System; and
WHEREAS, the Public'Employees' Retirement Law requires
that a contracting agency determine whether an employee of such
agency in which he is classified as a local safety member is
disabled for purposes of the Public Employees' Retirement Law and
whether such disability is "industrial" within the meaning of such
Law; and
WHEREAS, an application for reinstatement from disability
retirement of Ronald R. Wright has been received by the Agency and
has been filed with the Public Employees' Retirement System; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Council has reviewed the
medical and other evidence relevant to such alleged disability;

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve that:
Section 1. Ronald R. Wright is not incapacitated within
the meaning of the Public Employees' Retirement Law for performance
of his duties in the position of Fire Chief for the Placer
Foothills Consolidated Fire Pritection District, Auburn,
California.
Section 2. Mr. Wright's reinstatement from disability
retirement to safety employment would release the City from any
further disability payments or liabilities from his 1975 industrial
injury.
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of April I
1992.
