A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FOR STREET DEDICATION ON A PORTION
OF LOTS 50 & 51, BLOCK 13, MODJESKA PARK, IN THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS
PER MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 9 PAGES 142 & 143 INCLUSIVE OF
MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that the easement is necessary for the convenience,
welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest
' of the City shall be served by accepting the said easement; and
WHEREAS, street dedication of portions of Lot 50 & 51,
BLOCK 13, MODJESKA PARK also commonly known as 3156 REDWOOD AVENUE
has been analyzed and approved by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The City Council accepts the dedication of
an easement for street purposes to the City of Lynwood as offered
for dedication, as• designated:
The Northerly five feet (5') of Lots 50 & 51 of Block 13,
Modjeska Park, in the City of Lynwood, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, as recorded in Book 9, pages
142 & 143 of maps, in the office of the County Recorder
of said County,
Assessors No. 6171 - 012 -045
Section 2 . That the above described easement has been
offered for dedication to the City by Jose and Emilia Elizarraraz
(owners).
