A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD RELATING TO THE EMERGENCY
REPAIRS OF SEWER MAIN LINE ON ALMA AVENUE
BETWEEN LONG BEACH BOULEVARD AND CALIFORNIA
AVENUE
WHEREAS, staff while televising the sewer main line on
Alma Avenue, between California Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard
discovered two severely broken sections of the sewer line; and
WHEREAS, in order to maintain safe operation of the
sewer system, the broken sewer line needs to be repaired
immediately; and
WHEREAS, repairs for the broken sewer line will cost
ranges from $10,000 to $15,000; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood Municipal Code, Section
6 -3.13 allows for informal bid for emergency purchases.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does hereby find, proclaim, order, and resolve as
follows:

Section 1 . That the City Council of the City of
Lynwood approve the emergency works of the sewer main line on
Alma Avenue between Long Beach Boulevard and California Avenue,
per Section 6 -3.13 of the Lynwood Municipal Code.
Section 2 . This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21st day of
April 1992.
