A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE RENAMING
OF ENTERPRISE PLACE TO DEPUTY YAMAMOTO
' PLACE
WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of April 7,
1992, proposed that Enterprise Place be renamed Deputy Yamamoto
Place in honor of Nelson H. Yamamoto, a Deputy with the Los
Angeles County Sheriff's Department, who was recently slain in
the line of duty; and
WHEREAS, staff has determined that the street renaming
would not cause problems with a continuous street being named
differently, and would not cause confusion to motorists; and
WHEREAS, on April 23, 1992, the Traffic and Parking
Commission reviewed and supported the proposed street name
change.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That Enterprise Place be renamed to Deputy
Yamamoto Place.
' Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this
1992.
