A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
A GENERAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH THE COUNTY
OF LOS ANGELES
' WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood maintains a General Services
Agreement with the County of Los Angeles to provide various
services to the City; and
WHEREAS, the present five year General Service Agreement will
expire on June 30, 1992 and it is necessary to renew said
agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood wishes to
continue obtaining the services provided under the General Services
Agreement from the County of Los Angeles; and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City
of Lynwood as follows:
Section 1: That the City Council authorize the Mayor to
execute an Agreement for General Services with the County of
Los Angeles to start on July 1, 1992 and expire on June 30,
1997.
Section 2: That the County of Los Angeles shall obtain no
compensation from the City for entering into a General Service
Agreement and will only charge the City for services requested
and rendered.
Section 3: That this resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of May
1992.
