A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO
CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO ASCERTAIN
WHETHER A NUISANCE IS BEING MAINTAINED ON
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS
11351 HULME AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Lynwood has recommended
that this City Council find that certain premises within the City of Lynwood may be
maintained in such a way as to constitute a nuisance; and
WHEREAS, certain procedures are set forth in Chapter 3 -13 of the City
Code of the City of Lynwood, pursuant to which nuisance may be abated,
WHEREAS, the conditions on said property which may constitute a nuisance
are:
1. Overgrown vegetation thorughout site
2. Junk, trash and debris scattered throughout the site.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. Based upon the aforesaid recommendation of the City
Manager, this Council hereby finds and determines that the following described property
may presently be maintained in such manner as to constitute a nuisance. Such property is
described as Lot 03 of Tract 6187, Page 005 generally known as 11351 Hulme Avenue, City
of Lynwood.
Section 2. The method(s) by which said conditions could be abated,
but are not limited, include:
1. Remove the overgrown vegetation throughout site and maintain site
on an ongoing basis.
2. Remove all the junk, trash and debris from site, dispose of it in a
proper manner, and maintain site on an ongoing basis
Section 3 The owners of said property,Christine E. Sucamele, may be
ordered to take said steps in order to abate said nuisance pursuant to Chapter 11 -1.2 (b).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT THIS COUNCIL therefore declares
its intention to conduct a public hearing, pursuant to Chapter 3 -13 of the City Code of
Lynwood to ascertain whether the above described conditions constitute a public nuisance,
the abatement of which is appropriate under public power of the City of Lynwood, and,
THE CITY COUNCIL hereby fixes the hours of 7:30 p.m., June 16, 1992, as
the time and the City Council.Chambers, 11330 Bullis Road, as the place for said public
hearing; and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to serve and post certified copies of
the resolution in the manner set forth in Chapter 3 -13.5 of the Lynwood City Code.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City of
Lynwood held on the second day of June, 1992.
