A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO ENCINO
ENGINEERING, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $56,000
FOR THE INSTALLATION OF NINE (9) TELEMETRY
REMOTE TERMINAL UNITS AT WELL SITES AND
BOOSTER STATION.
WHEREAS, the installation of remote terminal units is
necessary to maintain local control of the water wells and
booster station in the event of a central terminal unit
communication failure; and
WHEREAS, required funds to complete the job are
available in the Water Division accounts; and
WHEREAS, a request for bids for the installation of
telemetry remote terminal units was advertised on April 1, 1992;
and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on April 16, 1992,
and Encino Engineering, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder;
and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that the
Contractor has the necessary experience and is capable of
performing the required work.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the installation of
nine (9) remote terminal units be awarded to Encino Engineering,
Inc. of Encino, California for its low bid of $56,000.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute the agreement between the City of Lynwood and Encino
Engineering, Inc.
Section 3. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of
June 1992.
