A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING INFORMAL BID PROCEDURE FOR PURCHASE OF FURNISHINGS FOR
THE COMMUNITY /TRANSIT CENTER AND APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR THESE
FURNISHINGS
WHEREAS the Community /Transit Center is nearing completion: and
WHEREAS furnishings and equipment will be needed in the center:
and
WHEREAS funds for these items will need to be appropriated; and
WHEREAS purchase of these furnishings can be made more
efficiently and economically through the informal bid procedure;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
Section 1 That Council authorize staff to pursue purchase of
furnishing for the Community /Transit Center by means of the informal
bid process.
Section 2 That the City Manager is authorized*to appropriate
funds and to make the necessary transfer for purchase of furnishings
and equipment for the Community /Transit Center.
