A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING A SOURCE REDUCTION
AND RECYCLING ELEMENT AND A HOUSEHOLD
HAZARDOUS WASTE ELEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has prepared a Source
Reduction and Recycling Element and a Household Hazardous Waste
Element, pursuant to the California Integrated Waste Management
Act of 1989, guidelines established pursuant thereto and related
legislation; and
WHEREAS, said elements were submitted for required
reviews and were the subjects of required public hearings held on
November 19, 1991 and August 18, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered comments
made at said reviews and public hearings.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DOES RESOLVE'AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 : That the City Council finds that the
Source Reduction and Recycling Element and the Household
Hazardous Waste Element were prepared in compliance with and in
conformance to the requirements of the California Integrated
Waste Management Act of 1989, guidelines established pursuant
thereto and related legislation.
SECTION 2 : The City Council adopts the Source
REduction and Recycling Element and the Household Hazardous Waste
Element, a copy of which is on file in the Office of the City
Clerk.
