A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD REQUESTING THE
ALLOCATION AND PAYMENT OF THE COUNTY
AID TO CITIES FUNDS, FY 1988 -89.
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated
$81,902 from the County Aid to Cities Funds (ATC) to the City of
Lynwood for FY 1988 -89; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to expend said
appropriation for the maintenance of City streets included in
the City approved Select System of Streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The County of Los Angeles is
hereby requested to allocate $81,902 of the Aid to Cities Funds,
apportioned to the City for FY 1988 -89 for the maintenance of
those streets listed on the currently approved Select System of
Streets (excluding State highways), on file with the Department
of Transportation, State of California.
SECTION 2 . After the allocation is approved by
the Board of Supervisors and funds are available, the County is
requested to send such allocated amounts to the City. The City
shall begin using the 1988/89 funds according to the terms of the
allocation.
Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to forward
a certified copy of this resolution to the Los Angeles County
Department of Public Works for processing.
Section 4. This resolution shall take
effect immediately upon its adoption.
