A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE WATER
VALVE REPLACEMENT JOB AS COMPLETE
WHEREAS, on May 5,1992, a contract in the amount of
$17,000 was awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, Miramontes
Construction Company Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the job started on June 22, 1992 and was
completed on July 2, 1992; and
WHEREAS, six (6) new water mainline valves were
installed at various location to replace damaged valves; and
WHEREAS, the total project cost is $17,000; and
WHEREAS, staff inspected the work and found it to be
complete in accordance with the job plans and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the City Council accepts the
Water Valve Replacement job as complete in accordance with
' contract documents.
Section 2 . This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18th day of
August , 1992.
