A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOL DECLARING CERTAIN
EQUIPMENT TO BE SURPLUS AND DIRECTING
THE SALE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, certain equipment /vehicles owned by the City
has become worn out and obsolete; and
WHEREAS, pooling equipment and vehicles would reduce
the size and maintenance of the equipment fleet; and
WHEREAS, underutilized vehicles could be more
economically rented for their limited uses; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to
sell such equipment /vehicles.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the equipment /vehicles as listed in
Attachment "A" are found and determined to be surplus.
Section 2. That the City Manager and the Director of
Public Works are directed to cause the sale of said surplus
equipment /vehicles.
Section 3. That the proceeds received from said sale
be placed in the Garage Division accounts for the purchase of new
equipment /vehicles.
Section 4. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED THIS 18th _ of
