A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE WATER METER
REPLACEMENT JOB AS COMPLETE
WHEREAS, on April 21, 1992, the City Council awarded a
contract to Schlumberger Industries, Inc., the lowest responsible
bidder for $37,545.90 to replace water meters at various
locations throughout the City; and
WHEREAS, the work started on June 6, 1992, and was
completed on July 27, 1992; and
WHEREAS, five hundred and seventy (570) new water
meters were replaced for a total cost of $37,845.90; and
WHEREAS, staff performed the final job inspection and
found that it had been completed in accordance with project
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council accepts the Water
Meter Replacement job as complete in accordance with contract
documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1st day of
September , 1992.
