Minutes of Public Hearing
Thursday, May 28, 2020
The Brewster Old King' s Highway Regional Historic District Committee, acting under the Massachusetts
General Laws, Chapter 470, Acts of 1973 as amended came to order remotely at 7900 pm . Committee
members present were Carol Appleton, Tom Turcketta , Jim Trabulsie ( Chairman ), George Carey, Sara
Provos ( Administrative Assistant ) . Patricia Busch and Steven Bergquist were not present ,

Ocean Edge Resort LLC, 2907 Main Street, Map 90 Lot 160

Thomas J . Devane, Project Director, Corcoran Jennison Company, Inc . represented the owners .
Mr . Devane stated that two ( 2 ) tents would be placed on the front lawn of the property located
at 2907 Main Street from June through October 31 , 20201
Jim Trabulsie read into record a letter received from Greg Ohanesian who is an abutter to this
property ,
Mr . Devane confirmed that the mansions will still be visible .
Sara Provos read into record an email received by Jan Moore who is an abutter to this property ,
The Committee feels that during these unusual times ( COVID49 ) , it is important to support local
businesses .
Mr . Trabulsie also stated , this is not something that the Committee would like to see or approve
on a yearly basis, but he is willing to support this during these challenging times .
Tom Turcketta moved to accept as presented . Carol Appleton seconded .
All voted in favor .
