ORDINANCE NO.313
AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM
RURAL RESIDENTIAL TO AGRICULTURAL PRESERVATION
The City Council of the City of Medina Ordains as follows:
SECTION I:
The property legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto is hereby rezoned from Rural
Residential to Agricultural Preservation.
SECTION II:
This ordinance shall become effective upon its adoption and publication.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Medina this 15th day of February, 2000.

Exhibit A
Legal Description
The South one-half of the Northwest Quarter (S 1/2 to NW 1/4) and the Northeast Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter (NE 1/4 of SW 1/4) of Section Sixteen (16), Township One Hundred Eighteen
(118) , Range Twenty-three (23), according to the Government Survey thereof, excepting
therefrom the following four exceptions:
Exception One:
Two acres of land in the South one-half (S 1/2) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section
Sixteen (16), Township One Hundred Eighteen (118), Range Twenty-three (23) , Hennepin
County, described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of the South one-half (S 1/2)
of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of said Section Sixteen (16); thence North along the West line
of said South one-half (S 1/2) a distance of five feet to the point of beginning of the land to be
described. Thence North along the West line of said South one-half (S 1/2) a distance of 208.71
feet. Thence turning to the right on an angle of 90 degrees a distance of 417.42 feet; Thence to
the right on an angle of 90 degrees a distance of 208.71 feet; thence on an angle of 90 degrees to
the right a distance of 417.72 feet to the point of beginning.
Exception Two:
The East 520 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section
Sixteen (16), Township One Hundred Eighteen (118) North, Range Twenty-three (23) West,
according to the Government Survey.
Exception Three:
The South 500 feet of that part of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southwest Quarter
(SW 1/4) lying West of the East 520 feet thereof in Section Sixteen (16), Township One Hundred
Eighteen (118) North, Range Twenty-three (23) West, according to the Government Survey.
Exception Four:
The North 845 feet of the South one-half (S 1/2) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section
Sixteen (16), Township One Hundred Eighteen (118) North, Range Twenty-three (23) West,
according to the Government Survey thereof.
All of the foregoing being according to the Government Survey thereof.
