ORDINANCE NO. 3:z I
AN ORDINANCE ATTESTING TO THE POSSIBLE
INCREASE IN TAXES LEVIED FOR BUDGET YEAR 2000
NECESSARY TO FINANCE PUBLIC SERVICES FOR THE
CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS:
Section 1. State Law
In accordance with state law, the City of Bel Aire has conducted a public hearing
and has published the proposed budget necessary to fund City services from January 1,
2000 until December 31,2000.
Section 2. Propertv Tax Revenues
After careful public deliberations, it is hereby attested that in order to maintain the
public services, which are essential for the citizens of this city, it will be necessary to utilize
property tax revenues in an amount which exceeds the revenues expended in the budget
year 1999.
Section 3. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the
official city newspaper.
