ORDINANCE NO.313
AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY
FROM RURAL RESIDENTIAL TO
AGRICULTURAL PRESERVATION
The City Council of the City of Medina Ordains as fol-
lows:
SECTION I:
The property legally described on Exhibit A attached
hereto is hereby rezoned from Rural Residential to
Agricultural Preservation.
SECTION II:
This ordinance shall become effective upon its adop-
tion and publication.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Medina
this 15th day of February, 2000.

Legal Description
The South one-half of the Northwest Quarter (S 1 / 2 to NW
1/4) and the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
(NE 1/4 of SW I/4) of Section Sixteen (16), Township One
Hundred Eighteen (118), Range Twenty-three (23), accord-
ing to the Government Survey thereof, excepting therefrom
the following four exceptions: ,
Exception One:
Two acres of land in the South one-half (S 1/2) of the
Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section Sixteen (16),
Township One Hundred Eighteen (118), Range Twenty-
three (23) , Hennepin County, described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the South one-half
(S 1 / 2) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1 / 4) of said Section
Sixteen (1d); thence North along the West line of
said South one-half (S 1/2) a distance of five feet to the
point of beginning of the land to be described. Thence
North along the West line of said South one-half (S 1/2) a
distance of 208.71 feet. Thence turning to the right on an
angle of 90 degrees a distance of
417.42 feet; Thence to the
right on an angle of 90 degrees a
distance of 208.71 feet; thence on
an angle of 90 degrees to the
right a distance of 417.72 feet to
the point of beginning:
Exception Two:
The East 520 feet of the
Northeast Quarter (NEVI/4) of
the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4)

The South 500 feet of that part of.

INTENT TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE AND OFFICIAL MAP DECLARING PROPERTY AS
AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE
At the February 15th, 2000 Medina City Council meeting, the City Council will consider adopting an ordinance and official
map declaring the property as shown below by the Hennepin County PIN Number 16-118-23-23-0005 as agricultural preserve.

I, Paul Robinson, being first duly sworn, depose and state as follows:
1. I am the administrator -clerk -treasurer of the city of Medina, a municipal
corporation under the laws of Minnesota and located in Hennepin County.
2. The property which is the subject of this application for inclusion within
the agricultural preserve is identified as PID 16 118 23 23 0005 and is legally described
on Exhibit A attached hereto.
3. The above property is eligible for designation as agricultural preserve
pursuant to action of the Medina city council on February 15, 2000 by adopting a
resolution and map to said effect. The resolution and map have been forwarded to the
Metropolitan Council as required by Minnesota Statutes, section 473H.04.
