JOINT SESSION
WEDNESDAY, MAY 2, 2001 7:30 P.M.

The Greencastle Common Council, Board of Works, Redevelopment Center and CACFID met in
Joint Session Wednesday, May 2, 2001, 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. The following Councilmembers
were present: Councilor Roach, Councilor Hammer, Councilor Crampton and Councilor Liechty.
Councilor Rokicki was absent. Board of Works members Sue Murray and George Murphey were
present along with Redevelopment Commission members Gwen Morris, Steve Gauly, Jim Ruark,
John O'Hair and Doug Wokoun. CACFID members present included: Bob Hutchings, Dave
Murray, Gary Huber, Alan Stanley, Bill Marley and Terry Osborne. Also present was: City
Attorney Laurie Robertson, City Engineer Glen Morrow, Street Commissioner Thomas Miles,
Wastewater Superintendent Mike Neese, Fire Chief Bill Newgent, Water Superintendent Terry
Dale, Police Chief Jim Hendrich and Mary Field.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the City of Greencastle Capital Projects and funding
issues for these projects. Engineer Morrow distributed a City of Greencastle Capital Projects List
for the Boards to discuss and prioritize. After some discussion it was suggested that a working
group be created with members from each board to discuss and prioritize the projects and come
back to the full boards with a recommendation.
