Adopted by the city council of the city of Medina this of May, 2000. CONCERNING DEVELOPMENT IN THE RURAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SECTION III: Effective Date. 3.01. This ordinance shall take effect upon its adoption by the city council and its publication in the official newspa- per. The City Council of the City of Medina Ordains as follows: SECTION I: Background. 1.01. On October 5, 1999, the city of Medina (the "City") adopted an interim ordinance declaring a moratorium on development within the areas of the city designated in the proposed comprehensive plan as urban commercial and in surrounding residential areas. 1.02. On December 21,1999, the City adopted an amended interim ordinance ("Ordinance No. 312") extending the moratorium to rural commercial areas within the City and surrounding residential areas. 1.03. One of tke areas affected by Ordinance No. 312 is located near the intersection of T.H. 12 and County Road 19 and is depicted on the map attached hereto as Exhibit A. SECTION 11: Findings. 2.01. It is hereby found and determined that the area of the community depicted on Exhibit A need no longer be sub- ject to the moratorium on development required by Ordinance No. 312. 2.02. The City hereby declares the area depicted on Exhibit A to be removed from the moratorium and no longer sub- ject to Ordinance No. 312. Property to be Removed from Moratoriumt. 4th day of April, 2000.
