GREENCASTLE COMMON COUNCIL & BOARD OF WORKS
JOINT SESSION
THURSDAY, JULY 5, 2001 4:00 P.M. CITY HALL
The Greencastle Common Council and Board of Works met in Joint Session Thursday, July 5,
2001, 4:00 p.m at City Hall. On the Roll Call, the following were found to be present: Councilor
Roach, Councilor Hammer, Councilor Liechty and Councilor Rokicki. Councilor Crampton
arrived at 5:25 p.m. George Murphey was present from the Board of Works. Sue Murray was
absent. Also present was Police Chief Jim Hendrich.
Interviews were held with the following Engineering Firms regarding RFQ's for the Police
Station:
RQAW
Paul I. Cripe
Hannum, Wagle and Cline
RQAW and Paul I. Cripe were both interested in either the fast track or traditional building
options. Hannum., Wagle and Cline is only interested in Design, Build, Lease.
An Executive Session was set for July 10, 2001 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss possibilities of leasing a
location until the new building is complete.
Motion to adjourn made by Councilor Hammer, seconded by Norm Crampton. Vote was
unanimous.
