A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE C 1TY DECLARING ITS
1NTEN7. '1O CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO
DETERMINE THE EXISTENCE OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, the Planning- Commission .of the City of Temple City finds
that certain premises within the City may be maintained contrary to the
provisions of the Municipal Code of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that a public hearing be
held to ascertain whether or not a public nuisance exists,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission hereby declares its intent
to hold a public hearing on May 12, 1981, to ascertain whether certain
premises situated in the City of Temple City, State of California, known
and designated as 5802 Alessandro Avenue -- in said City, and more
particularly described as the west 125 ft. of Lot 749 of Tract No. 6561,
M.B. 72 -34 -35 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los
Angeles, State of California
constitute a public nuisance subject to abatement 'by the City:
II/ That the following conditions maintained on said property may exist
contrary to the provisions of Section 4240 of the Municipal Code of the
City:
1. Overgrown ivy along Alessandro and Workman Avenues and on
fences.
2. Overgrown trees and overgrowth, fallen branches and fruit
in rear yard and side yards.

That abatement by the following method(s) has been suggested:
1. Cut back all overgrown ivy along Alessandro and Workman
Avenues and on fences to not more than 6" above ground.
2. Clear rear yard; completely prune all trees in' professional
manner. Clean up all overgrowth, fallen branches and fruit
and dispose of properly. Cut back all overgrowth which can
harbor rats and vermin. Cut back trees and bushes in north
side yard and ivy.
That the City Clerk shall cause the owner of said premises to be
served with appropriate notice in the manner prescribed by the Municipal
Code:
That the Secretary of the Planning Couunissiorr.shall cause said
premises to be posted in the manner prescribed by the Municipal Code;
The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
