AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH PRESTIGE ENVIRONMENTAL, INC., RE: PROFESSIONAL
ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional environmental
engineering services for the Carteret Waterfront Redevelopment Project, Block 100, Lot
2; and
WHEREAS, Prestige Environmental, Inc., 220 Davidson Avenue, Suite 307, Somerset,
New Jersey 08873, possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said
services; and
WHEREAS, Prestige Environmental, Inc. has submitted a proposal to provide said
services at a total cost not to exceed $12,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that f are or will be available
for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from Prestige Environmental, Inc. for professional
environmental engineering services for the Carteret Waterfront
Redevelopment Project, Block 100, Lot 2 at a total cost not to exceed
$12,500.00 is hereby approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11- 5(1)(a) awarded pursuant to the
Borough's Fair and Open Process as authorized by law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and Prestige Environmental, Inc..
Adopted this 5 day of September, 2013
and certified as a true copy of the
original on September 6, 2013.
