A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE FOUR POCKET PARK CONSTRUCTION PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER
4011.67.867 AS BEING COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO
PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on October 18, 2011, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
awarded the Four Pocket Parks Construction Project; Project No. 4011.67.867 contract
to ARC - Accucon Construction, Inc. in the amount of $495,553.06; and
WHEREAS, the project started on December 12, 2011 and was completed on
March 30, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the project is funded with the Federal HUD funds and the State
Rivers and Mountains Conservancy funds; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $503,462.33; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on March 30, 2012
and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the Pocket
Parks Construction Project; Project No. 4011.67.867 as complete in accordance with
contract documents; and authorizes the City Engineer to process the recordation of the
Notice of Completion.
Section 2 . This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3 . The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
