A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE WORK OF SAMPLING AND TESTING OF WATER WELL NO. 22 FOR ALL
TITLE 22 CONSTITUENTS, PROJECT NO. 4011.67.894, AS BEING COMPLETE;
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF
THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on October 24, 2011, Zim Industries, Inc. dba Bakersfield Well &
Pump Company was retained to sample and test the water quality of Well No. 22,
Project No. 4011.67.894, and
WHEREAS, the water sampling and testing began on December 25, 2011 and
was completed on January 18, 2012, with results meeting all State Department of Public
Health Standards; and
WHEREAS, the project is funded by the Water Fund; and
WHEREAS, the final cost of the project is $46,880; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works conducted the final review of the
project work on January 18, 2012 and found that all work is complete in accordance
with project documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the work of
the Sampling and Testing of Water Well No 22 for all Title 22 Constituents Project,
Project No. 4011.67.894 as complete in accordance with the contract documents; and
authorizing the City Engineer to process the recordation of the Notice of Completion.
Section 2. The Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17 day of April, 2012.
