A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
AN APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A LYNWOOD
FAMILIES AND CITY PARK PATRON BILL OF RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Council provides policy direction for prudent and
efficient management of the City's parks and facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City seeks to offer and encourage safe, fair and enjoyable use of
city park facilities by its residents; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Families and City Park Patron Bill of Rights and
Responsibilities is consistent with the City's park, recreation, and leisure objectives; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approves the funding and establishment of a
Lynwood Families and Park Patron Bill of Rights and Responsibilities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the purchase of a total of six park
signs to display the Lynwood Families and City Park Patron Bill of Rights to be placed at
Burke -Ham Park, Lynwood City Park, and Medina Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY FIND,
ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Lynwood City Council enacts the attached Lynwood Families and City
Park Patron Bill of Rights & Responsibilities.
Section 2. The Lynwood City Council approves the appropriation of funds evenly
distributed from each Council Member's discretionary funds to provide for a total of six
park signs at Burke -Ham Park, Lynwood City Park and Medina Memorial Park.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of April 2012.
