SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Senator Rice of Caldwell has introduced a bill at the Idaho Legislature that would overhaul the State’s liquor license system. Council has been asked by the Mayor of Driggs, Idaho to
submit a position on the bill to the Senate State Affairs Committee. The Association of Idaho Cities currently is in support of the bill.
The bill text and the statement of purpose are attached.

Discuss the bill and give direction to staff.
