SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The West Central Mountains Economic Development Council (WCMEDC) is requesting $4500 to provide the following economic services to the City of McCall:
Partial sponsorship of the 2019 West Central Mountains Economic Development Summit: $2500.00; and
Creation of a Culinary Arts Apprenticeship program in McCall where participants can explore culinary arts, gain skills in the industry and be ready to enter the workforce: $1000.00;
and
Coordination, in partnership with the Idaho Small Business Development Center, of not less than two (2) trainings for community members and entrepreneurs to provide education on business
planning and scoping in the local economy: $1000.00.
The scope of work is proposed to be completed by December 31, 2019. Community and Economic Development staff have reviewed and support the project proposal. The City Attorney’s office
has prepared the attached Agreement for Services.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the West Central Mountains Economic Development Council Agreement for Services and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
