SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall Historic Preservation Commission (HPC), as described by McCall City Code Title 2 Chapter 4, is responsible for conducting a survey of local historic properties and recommending
methods necessary to preserve, maintain and restore historic properties.
At its March 13, 2019 meeting, the HPC unanimously recommended that City Council approve up to $2000 to compensate a BSU Intern consultant to create a digital inventory of buildings
and properties of historic significance in the City of McCall. In partnership with Department of History at Boise State University, members of the HPC invited applicants for the project,
conducted an interview process, and selected Erik Cordes as the project consultant.
Walt Sledzieski, HPC Chair, led the effort to identify a qualified consultant and develop the project scope. He will make the presentation to Council to request approval of the project
Consulting Services Agreement.
Attached is an introductory memo from Mr. Sledzieski, project scope of services, resume of Erik Cordes, and Consulting Services Agreement reviewed by the City Attorney.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Consulting Services Agreement with Erik Cordes for creation of a local historic buildings and properties inventory and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
