SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City of McCall Parks and Recreation Department is seeking approval for submittal of an Idaho Community Foundation grant in an amount not to exceed $5,000 (exact grant request TBD)
to support the purchase and installation of a new playground and ADA accessibility improvements at Brown Park.
The total project cost is estimated to be approximately $280,000. Idaho Dept. of Parks and Recreation has awarded $136,000 in Land and Water Conservation Funds to the project, which
will be utilized as demonstrated match to the Idaho Community Foundation grant request, which requires at least 1:1 matching funds. Additionally, City staff have budgeted for $135,000
in CIP funds for the project.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve submittal of an Idaho Community Foundation grant application and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
